Meg Weinberger an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives for the 94th district. She moved to Florida in 1979.  She graduated from Phillips Business College and Palm Beach State College.  Meg’s impact can be felt across our community.

For 10 years Meg has been the driving force behind Rescue Life, an animal sanctuary that provides second chances for abused animals. Rescue Life partners with organizations like Kid Sanctuary,

Place of Hope, Els Center for Excellence & Adult Day Program, and Friendship Circle to use animals

as sources of comfort for the most vulnerable members of our community. Their goal is to provide hope and companionship to adults dealing with mental health challenges, as well as underserved and autistic children and adults. She is an active supporter of the Place of Hope, Special Olympic Hometown Foundation, and is a former VP and Board Member of the Big Dog Ranch. In 2022, Meg was appointed to Stetson University Board of Trustees.  Meg was elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2024. In Tallahassee, Meg has worked tirelessly to help make Florida affordable, safe, and prosperous. She worked with her colleagues to pass monumental property tax initiatives that will appear on the November 3 ballot. If passed, the new laws will bring major relief to Florida homeowners. Additionally, Meg supported legislation to hold big insurance companies accountable and ensure people can access claims they are entitled to by their insurer. During Meg’s tenure, property insurance rates have been dropping across Florida.
